Everything is said .. .. thanks fred ! !!!

Oh yeah !! ! Who is fred ? ?? He is my friend and partner, we are working togeher on this project.
He was last year livin' in his parents rented home. The owner's son was a dj, all his records were down in the cellar but it was only shitty house and electro ... sad.. Then fred live there for one year before to go down to the cellar again and find a hidden plastic bag. Fred is curious so he opened it ... Inside were something like 30 rare library records like KPM stuffs and the incredible Andy Loore Ambiance Rythme 10" ! !! ! !
Amazing ! !!!!
You find that he is lucky, well I'm agree. But I'm also very very jealous .. ... ; )

  2. I've made that dream lots of times !! Finding a stash of records ... you know tons of rare stuffs in a case between shitty franck pourcels and michel sardou records ... and suddenly ... the complete IM series, soundworkshop, iller, all umiliani's lps and all the cinevox !!! And the best part of it is that the guy ask you for 10 euros if you take all of it ! That's usualy the time i wake up ! But what a dream ...

  3. Great work on the faux-library sleeve art. I've been doing several series from an invented label called 'Musique du Monde' at my blog, Musicophilia (http://musicophilia.wordpress.com/tag/musique-du-monde/) and it's a lot of fun. (Warning, though: I'm not actually a French-speaker, so the faux-French text is VERY rough). Keep up the good work!

Well OK you don't have to but who doesn't love Mr "AKA Janko Nilovic"?

  6. Yeah, Keith Mansfield's take on the "Funky Fanfare" riff is the best version, hands down. That same riff turns up on a couple of other library discs, but it's never got the same zip-bang-boom as KM gives it. And: this track is on the BLOW UP VOL2 comp, which has a buncha similarly seriously fun-kay songs as well.

Annnnnyway....thanks for putting this out there!
